W500 is a high-quality, solvent-based roof coating for outdoor use.

With its semi-gloss surface it not only gives the roof an attractive look, but also protects it from weather influences such as rain, snow and UV radiation.

The paint is easy to work with and can be used on various metallic surfaces such as steel, aluminum and zinc.

Surface preparation

Remove rust with a wire brush. Sand metal and remove the sanding dust
Remove rust with a wire brush. Sand the old paint or new metal and remove the sanding dust

Coating structure

After sanding/cleaning/drying, metal paint can be applied in 2 steps.
1. Cleaning/sanding
2. First layer
3. Second coat after approx. 8 hours drying

Dilution

Paint is ready to use. If necessary, it can also be diluted with up to 10% turpentine
W500 is ready for processing and therefore does not require any dilution

Order procedure

Stir well before use. Apply evenly and thinly with a brush, roller or airless
using a brush, roller or paint sprayer

Dry time

At +20°C it is dry to the touch in 1-2 hours and hardens completely in approx. 2 weeks

Technical data

Base: Solvent-based / gloss level: silky gloss

Features: Impact-resistant & shock-resistant, highly abrasion-resistant, anti-rust

Suitable for substrates: Tin roof, aluminum, metal, zinc

Opacity: approx. 5-8 sqm/liter per coat (double coat recommended)

Drying time: dry to the touch in 1-2 hours; hardened in approx. 2 weeks (at +20°C)

Bluffant

Utilisation sur bac acier de 20 m2, 3 couches et il m’en reste même un peu. Bluffant car sous un soleil de plomb avec une température de 27 degrés aujourd’hui , le bac acier ainsi peint reste froid alors qu’avant on aurait pu faire cuire des œufs au plat dessus! Je pense qu’en hiver, la condensation ne sera qu’un mauvais souvenir. Il s’agit du toit de mon atelier, la température intérieure est également impactée positivement grâce a cette peinture. À voir la tenue dans le temps.
