Optimal Processing Conditions

Optimal processing conditions are between 15 - 25°C and a relative humidity of 30 - 60%.
High temperatures and low humidity shorten the drying time, while low temperatures and high humidity extend the drying time.
Do not process in direct sunlight to avoid too rapid drying of the paint and the formation of bubbles on the surface.
Do not paint when it is windy to prevent dust from settling on the surface before it dries.

Which tool is the right one?

For water-based paints, acrylic varnishes: flock roller or a short-pile lambskin roller, brush with synthetic or artificial fiber bristles
For solvent-based paints and varnishes: short-pile rollers (for example Vestan rollers) that do not trap air, natural bristle also called China bristle
For floor coating: lint-free paint roller
For facades: masonry brush, also called painter’s brush, or a simple paint roller
For PU varnish: paint rollers made of mohair, pile, velour, smooth felt, Royal, Rolloplan. Foam rollers are unsuitable!

How do you clean tools?

It depends on the materials you have worked with:

If it was a water-based product – you can manage with water
If it was solvent-based – use a universal thinner

Cleaning tools contaminated with epoxy resins is a bit more complicated. You should always weigh up cost vs. benefit:

Cleaning brushes, rollers, mixing cups, etc., is not worth it. The cost of cleaning agents is already significantly higher than using new tools. For simple tools, it is better to let them harden and use new ones.
When cleaning expensive tools, you should keep in mind that work equipment must never be cleaned with solvents or thinners. Even the smallest traces of solvents on the tools can prevent the epoxy resin from curing in your next project. In this case, all your work would be in vain.

Why is the paint or oil not drying?

Possible reasons:

At temperatures below +15°C / above +25°C and humidity over 70%, the drying time is extended
A thick layer of paint takes longer to dry
Products such as cleaners or degreasers can slow down the drying time
Both components of the epoxy paint are poorly mixed or incorrectly distributed

The surface is still sticky after a few days of drying. What can I do?

Possible reasons:
If the paint was applied thickly or the excess oil was not removed from the surface, the wood may remain sticky.

What to do:
You can use a soda lye with warm water or sand the surface mechanically and then reapply the paint or oil.

Viel Aufwand

Ich wollte unser, in die Jahre gekommenes, Duschbad etwas aufhübschen. Eine Komplettsanierung mit Fliesen raus und alles neu war mir zu viel Aufwand und auch zu teuer. Daher habe ich mich von den positiven Rezensionen überzeugen lassen und diesen Lack gewählt.Die ganze Anschleiferei war schon mächtig Aufwand. Da hier mit normalen Schleifmitteln nichts zu erreichen war, habe ich mir extra teure Diamantschleifmittel besorgt. Damit ging es dann.Der Erstanstrich war ernüchternd. Hier habe ich auch noch keine 100%ige Deckung erwartet. Etwas besser wurde es mit dem Zweiten.Ich entscheid mich dann für einen dritten Anstrich. Dann war es ok.Wirklich glänzend war der Lichtgrau allerdings nicht, sondern eher seidenmatt. Hier könnte man, nach Rücksprache Hersteller, noch einen Hochglanzlack transparent drüber ziehen. Aber ist ok so.Für den Boden RAL 7016 gekauft. Hier haben 2 Anstriche für eine ausreichende Deckung genügt.Allerdings auch nicht wirklich glänzend, sondern eher Seidenglänzend.Mein Fazit: Viel Aufwand, aber immer noch weniger als neue Fliesen.

Der beste Lack was es gibt!! Überstreicht eigentlich von ersten mal alles super aber da ich graue fliesen hatte musste ich 2 mal streichen und bin mega zufrieden .Also wenn man fliesen überstreichen möchte dann nur mit diesem Lack. Danke an den verkäufer

Gute Qualität

Bitte als 1 lesen sie die Gebrauchsanweisungen , wenn Sie noch nie mit eine 2k gestrichen haben. Am sonst wir sind zufrieden mit 2 Anstrichen

Ging hier nicht lange gut leider

Zuerst war ich super begeistert. Die Farbe lässt sich toll verarbeiten.Dann nach ein paar Monaten hatte ich die ersten risse und die alte Fliese schimmerte durch.Jetzt wird es von Mal zu Mal schlimmer.Möglicherweise doch nicht für Bodenfliesen in der Dusche geeignet?Sehr schade, weil der Farbton und die Verarbeitung echt gefällt.(Verarbeitet am 02.11.2024, auf dem Bild noch Ränder angeklebt und rechts von heute mit dem aufgeplatzten und heller werdenden Farbton)

Super deckend

Ich wollte die altbacken farbenden Fliesen etwas aufhellen und daher weiß streichen. Nachdem ich die Farbe und den Härter gemäß Anleitung angerührt habe, war das Auftragen sehr einfach. Außerdem hat die Farbe keinen starken Geruch wie die herkömmlichen Lacke. Nach dem dritten Anstrich war die Farbe sehr deckend und von der ursprünglichen Fliese nichts mehr zu erkennen. Top!
